 Welcome to Northern Prairie Chevre. Nestled in the prairies of Woodward, Iowa, our creamery began with the love of two nubian bubbies we affectionately named Mik and Maude.
In each hand-crafted batch, we unite the freshest local ingredients with the old-world craft of cheesemaking. We invite you to experience the marriage between the land and labor that is evident in our cheeses.
Northern Prairie Chevre produces fine quality artisan crafted cheeses. Our cheeses are hand made from the milk of Nubian goats, raised here on our farm under the herd name, Nubian Bubbies. We currently offer Chevre, goat cheese, in a variety of flavors, as well as French Style Feta, Caprine
Farmhouse, and Queso Blanco. We also provide other delightful accompaniments such as hot fudge sauce - all can be arranged in gift baskets for your next special occasion.
